If you already feel comfortable using a 3D modeling software, that's great! If not, you can check out my video for a step by step to tutorial using Tinkercad (free and one of the easiest to use as a beginner). Things to keep in mind as you design:

  • how will you add hardware?
  • what size do you want them to be?
  • will they be easy to print but to delicate to make a mold from?
  • do they need to mirror each other? especially is you use text you need to think about this

  • Step Two: 3D Print

    Step Three: Apply XTC-3D

WHY: This post process coating smooths out the individual layers on your print which will make your end product look better and will make the whole process literally go smoother ;)

    Step Four: Pour the Silicone

    Step Five: Pour the Resin

    Step Six: Apply Hardware
